Richard always wondered; how do you know who is the one? But looking back, with Suzana he says he knew it from their first date. He knew it that night when just a quick drink became many drinks, laughs, selfies, and video messages to 2am in Sydney’s Newtown. Richard proposed to Suzana at the Byron Bay Lighthouse, hurrying to get there to meet the sunrise, in Nov 2021. Their wedding followed in May 2022 and the sheer joy, warmth and connection between all their loved ones on the day, filled the air.
